Yeah, I've got a life. Or tried to attain one, rather, once 7th grade started. But that didn't go down to well. So here I am!

I'll be working my ass off on weekends and whenever I can to get some serious work done on this site. I'm hoping to start doing album reviews, artist reviews, music covers, etc. This place is going to get some serious amping up, cause music is good for the soul. Hot funk cool punk even if it's old junk it's still rock n roll to me, go Billy Joel.

Right now I'm going through the process of updating absolutely everything, adding new pictures/fanfiction and two entirely new sections to this website, so things are going to be a little crazy for a while. I'm not sure if all this will be finished by the time school starts again, so no guarentees that the Franz Ferdinand and Gorillaz sections will be done. If not, I'll try to get it completed over Winter Break. I'm starting 7th grade soon, which is going to be a completely different format than elementary school, clearly, and I'm probably going to be all frazzled and too confused to update the site for a while.

And I typed "frazzled" as "Franzled" at first. Ha.

Anywho, please be patient with me--even though the only person who actually looks at this site is Jacklyn--while I try to get everything sorted out. Many thanks.

Look, guys. This is stupid.
At our own schools, we have no one to really talk to about the Monkees. We're alone, we're ridiculed, we're the rejects. Let's face that. As a substitute for real life friends, we use twitter to communicate with those who have the same hobbies and enjoy the same things as we do. In addition to that, we can pretend we're someone else for a little while. I love getting to act with all of you guys, and it's much better than a friendship with a person at school who doesn't even give a damn about you. For the past few weeks, however, stuff has been getting a little... weird.

First, it was those new Monkees fans who joined twitter. You know, the ones with "whore" and stuff in their names. This got me peeved, but I otherwise ignored it. Then we got the new roleplayers. They seemed to come in one big KABOOM. We went from RP deprived, to drowning in Mickys, Peters, Davys, and Mikes. What really stinks is that nearly all of them are gay. I don't have anything against homosexuality, but it kinda ruins the roleplaying when there's too much if it going on. All the girls (or at least me) are sitting here, thinking, "Well what happened to the attention WE used to get?"

And what happened to just talking to each other? Now it's all about sex. Constantly, sex. We're teens, I get it. We have sexual tension. But all the time? Can we stop the sex for just a little bit? Can things change to a brighter atmosphere? Please? I'm getting a little bit frustrated, and it would be greatly appreciated if everyone can just cool it with all this.

So, I've been REALLY busy with school and stuff, but I've also been neglecting this site due to my obession with twitter. Seriously, I liked it before (cause of Micky, whose twitter is now @TheMickyDolenz1), but I've since joined a... Monkees Community, if you will, on twitter. I've been learning a lot about roleplaying, something I had only seen on Club Penguin. I've met many new people, and I've learned not only more about the Monkees, but more about government and politics. I've gained a more mature perspective on things. So much has changed in a couple months. I'm hanging out with teenagers on twitter, something I would NEVER do in real life. I've broken up with my boyfriend and gotten married (this is roleplaying, via twitter) to Prince Nesmith (my username is now @MrsNishwash). I'm not sure when I'll be posting more content, maybe in a few weeks, cause I'll have a week off for Thanksgiving. So I guess bye for now.

While looking up pics I am constantly finding Davy with those little green rectangular glasses!!! Where could I get my hands on those I wonder??
